This Paph. ciliolare bloomed in mid February, 2008. This is the true form of the species, closely related to Paph. superbiens, a species that can be seen here.
Habitat Information
Geographic Distribution Found in the Philippines on the northern shores of the island and the nearby islands of Siargao and Dinagat.
Blooming Season (N. hemisphere) My ciliolares have bloomed primarily in the late fall and winter.
Light Requirements Moderate shade.
Temperatures Warm; highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s are preferable.
Substrate According to Birk, Paph. ciliolare grows in decomposed volcanic soil. Others have noted that this species tends to grow at the base of bushes.
Water  
Humidity High year round, with good air movement.
